PROCESS & DELIVERABLES / 流程与交付

Clear scope.
Careful language.

A practical workflow for understanding your documents, agreeing the work and delivering a usable translation.

01 / Understand the use

Identify the reader, receiving institution, language pair and required format. Flag recipient-specific requirements before work starts.

02 / Confirm a written scope

Agree on the source version, counting method, price, deadline, file format and any extra service. A change of source or scope is discussed before additional work.

03 / Translate in context

Use the agreed reference names and terminology. Raise unclear wording and inconsistencies as questions rather than assuming information absent from the source.

04 / Check the essentials

Check names, dates, numbers, terminology and completeness against the source. An independent second-linguist review can be discussed as a separate scope.

05 / Deliver in the agreed format

Electronic files are delivered in the agreed format. A clean version, bilingual layout or tracked changes should be specified in the quotation.

06 / Resolve language questions

Discuss confirmed translation errors and questions about the agreed text. New source text, changed requirements and stylistic rewrites are assessed separately.

Sensitive documents: agree before sharing

Start with a non-confidential description. Discuss any NDA, access limits and transfer method before sending passports, financial records or confidential business files. The website inquiry form does not upload documents.

Translation and notarization are different services

YIJING provides translation, editing and related language services. We do not provide notarization or issue apostilles or consular legalization. A translation statement or company stamp does not replace these procedures. Arrange any required notarization with a competent institution according to the place of issue, intended use and recipient requirements. Acceptance is determined by the receiving institution.
